Adding and Edit Pins to Layouts

How to Add and Edit Pins to Layouts

  1. Accessing Layouts Tab

    • Go to the layouts tab in global settings after uploading layouts.

  2. Exploring Pin Templates and Categories

    • Filter through pin templates like athletic fields, classroom desks, etc.

    • Add pin categories for better organization (e.g., HVAC, classrooms).

  3. Adding Pins to Layouts

    • Click on the desired layout to add pins.

    • Options include moving and resizing shapes, drawing shapes, adding text.

  4. Editing Pins

    • Click into a pin to access edit options like resizing, duplicating, and associating with locations, equipment, or projects.

  5. Associating Pins

    • Choose to associate pins with locations, equipment, or projects.

    • Name the pin, add descriptions, and update details as needed.

  6. Deleting Pins

    • To delete a pin, click on the edit section, then hit delete.

    • Confirm deletion to permanently remove the pin.

  7. Finalizing and Viewing Pins

    • Save changes and close the editing window.

    • View all added pins in the layouts view for easy access and reference.
