How to Assign Watcher Groups and Users by Location

Assign watchers and user by location, ensuring the right teams are notified to streamline communication and efficiency.

Simplifying Work Order Assignments in FlowPath

1. Accessing Global Settings in FlowPath

   • Navigate to global settings.

   • Proceed to the work orders tab.

   • Enter the categories section.

2. Assigning Users and Watcher Groups

   • Click on a specific category, e.g., technology.

   • Move to the assignment and watchers tab.

   • Default assignments can be made here for users and watcher groups applicable across the board.

3. Location-Specific Assignments

   • Opt for location-specific assignments for higher priority.

   • Create a location assignment within the selected category.

   • Choose an assigned user or a watcher group.

   • Specify the site or building, e.g., Avengers Tower.

   • Define the location within the site.

   • Update the assignment.

4. Managing Multiple Location Assignments

   • Multiple location assignments can be set up for the same category.

   • Each location assignment can have a different assigned user and watcher group.

   • Update the assignments to reflect the changes made.

5. Example Scenario

   • Assignee and watcher group settings for Avengers Tower under the technology category.

   • Assignee: Self, Watcher Group: Red.

   • Assignee and watcher group settings for the Bat Cave under the technology category.

   • Assignee: Self, Watcher Group: Blue.
