Before you start
Your account admin needs to have push notifications enabled for your organization. If you follow the steps below and still aren't receiving notifications, check with your admin or reach out to our team via Live Chat Support in platform.
Turn on push notifications- Download FlowPath on your phone or device.
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to your user profile.
- Toggle on push notifications.
That's it! When you turn the toggle on, FlowPath registers the device you're using, and you'll start receiving push notifications on it based on the default your admin has set - for example, when a work order is assigned to you.
If you'd like to customize these notifications beyond the default you can toggle on "Use Custom Push Notification Preferences" and check the notifications you'd like to receive.
NOTE: If you select custom notification preferences and do not check any buttons, you will not receive any notifications, including the default
Push notifications must be turned on from each device you would like to receive them on. Custom Notification preferences are per device.
Your Registered DevicesEach device where you enable push notifications is registered to your profile, and you can see all of your registered devices there. If a device needs to be removed - say you've replaced your phone - an admin can remove it from your user profile in Settings.
Make sure you're signed in as yourself on your own device.
You turned the toggle on but aren't getting notifications: ask your admin to confirm that push notifications are enabled for your account and that the right notification types are turned on for your role.
