In the highlighted example below you will see that anytime a user with the permission setting of "Collaborator" is assigned to a work order they will receive a notification. The above mentioned designations may not be visible to every user. Some organizations do not require "approvers", therefore this field is not visible on their work orders and will not require any notification preferences to be set.
