Setting Up Pre & Post Trip Inspections

This guide quickly shows how to create and configure a Pre Trip Inspection form in Flowpath in the Asset Reservations Module


1. To set up these inspections you must have admin access so you can navigate to your Global Settings.

2. Click "Asset Reservations"

3. Scroll down to find Trip Forms

4. Click "New form"

5. Name your form and make sure its set to active.

Click the pencil icon on the From Intro Section to add a intro message, instructions, or any additional information of your choosing.

You can update this at any time.

6. Make sure to click "Save" after adding your intro.

The intro is optional and not required.

7. Next you can enable meter readings. Once enabled select the unit of measure such as mileage.

Your form can also be SAML/SSO enabled if you would like.

8. You can now add various custom questions to your inspection form.

You can edit the fields at anytime.

10. You will find your form listed in the trip form box, click on it to make edit at any time.

11. If you would like to build a post trip form you can always duplicate your first one and just make a few select changes to reflect a post trip inspection or build a post trip form from scratch.

12. In order to make sure your requesters get the correct form find the asset category that your reservable assets are tagged with.

I have tagged all my reservable vehicles with a equipment category of "Reservation Vehicles"
