Using Events Availability Search to Create Events

****This tutorial is for Admins that are creating events in FlowPath and not requesting them.

How to Use Your Event Availability Search in Flowpath To Create a Event

  1. Accessing Availability Search

    • Go to the events module.

    • Click on "Create Event" dropdown.

    • Select "Availability Search".

  2. Setting Up Search Parameters

    • Choose a date (e.g., Thursday the 19th).

    • Select the location (e.g., Flowpath High).

  3. Viewing Availability

    • Floor plan with available times will be displayed.

    • Select sub-locations or individual pins to view availability.

  4. Customizing Time Slots

    • Default availability is usually 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Custom time slots can be set in global settings or location menu.

  5. Selecting Time Frame

    • Users can choose a specific time frame.

    • Confirm selection by clicking "Yes".

  6. Creating the Event

    • Proceed to create the event.

    • Admin view skips the request form and goes straight to event creation.

  7. Further Editing

    • Edit times, descriptions, work orders, etc., as needed.
